Shahnameh is a valuable historical document that includes details about diplomatic relations between Iran and other prominent governments in ancient times. This wonderful volume allows us to observe the role of diplomats in expanding political ties between governments. This article focuses on a small number of cases where female diplomats were sent from one court to another, with ten lady envoys appearing throughout the stories of Shahname. After examining the missions accomplished by each lady ambassador and analyzing events occurring in the stories, the writer elaborates on their behavior and how they completed their tasks. According to the results of the study, although women weren't commonly sent as ambassadors in those days, the ambassadors identified in Shahname stories successfully completed their assignments. It can be seen throughout all the stories that the female diplomats, without resorting to male behaviors, did their work correctly and maintained their feminine character. In addition to the three main qualities of 'perspicacity', 'confidentiality', and 'peace-building', the envoys discussed here were also characterized by wisdom, creativity, intelligence, political knowledge, eloquence, tidiness, honesty, and diplomatic etiquette awareness.
